What is Hydrotex?
Hydrotex™ is the easy-care fabric Paliano Casa uses on its sofas, chosen for one job: to live with a real family. Most upholstery is picked to look good in a showroom and quietly gives up once daily life starts, it stains, it holds pet hair, and it wears thin at the edges. Hydrotex™ is woven tight and smooth for the opposite reason. Spills sit on the surface long enough to wipe away, the close weave shrugs off pet hair, and it stays soft to sit on through years of use rather than months.

Is Hydrotex good for homes with kids and pets?
Yes, that is exactly what it is for. The close weave resists pet hair and everyday wear, and spills sit on the surface so they wipe off instead of soaking in. How do you clean a Hydrotex sofa?
Easy to keep clean is the whole point, so the routine is short.
Wipe spills as they happen with a clean, damp cloth. Most messes lift straight off the surface rather than soaking in. For a deeper clean, use a mild soap and water solution, then blot dry. No harsh solvents. Vacuum or brush now and then to lift pet hair and keep the weave looking fresh. And keep the sofa out of long, direct sun where you can, the same as you would any fabric.
