At Paliano Casa, we are committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and a transparent purchasing experience. The following outlines our 30 Day Home Trial, 5 Year Structural Warranty, delivery process and exchange terms so that you may purchase with clarity and confidence.
30 Day Home Trial
Try it at home for 30 days. If it’s not right, we’ll collect it.
We believe comfort should be experienced at home, not in a showroom.
That is why we offer a 30 Day Home Trial from the date of delivery. If within 30 days you feel the sofa is not the right fit for your space or comfort preference, you may request a return.
Eligibility
To qualify under the Home Trial:
• Return request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery
• The sofa must be returned in good condition without structural damage or misuse
• Light daily usage and natural cushion settling are acceptable
• Excessive staining, tears or abnormal damage may result in deductions
A $100 pickup fee applies to cover transport and handling. In selected situations, this fee may be waived at our discretion.
Refunds will be processed after inspection and approval.
The 30 Day Home Trial does not apply to custom sizes, special order colours or clearance items.
Colour & Lighting Acknowledgment
Colour appearance may vary depending on environmental factors such as natural daylight, indoor lighting temperature, surrounding wall tones and flooring.
Such variations are normal and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Returns requested solely due to colour perception under different lighting conditions may not qualify under the Home Trial.
We strongly encourage customers to request fabric swatches and review materials in their intended space prior to confirming an order.
5 Year Structural Warranty
If the frame, joints or base fail under normal home use, we’ll repair or replace the affected part at no cost.
Every Paliano Casa sofa is engineered for long term structural integrity and built for normal residential living.
We provide a 5 Year Structural Warranty covering manufacturing defects relating to:
• Internal wooden frame integrity
• Structural joint failure
• Base support construction
This warranty applies only to defects that materially compromise the structural stability, load bearing performance or safety of the sofa under normal residential use.
Minor Components
Minor components such as buttons, legs and non structural fittings are repairable.
If a minor manufacturing defect is reported within the first 1 month from delivery, repair service will be provided at no service charge.
After the initial 1 month period, a service or transport fee may apply for collection or on site repair. In selected situations, this fee may be waived at our discretion.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear
• Gradual cushion softening, compression or comfort contouring consistent with normal use
• Fabric pilling, surface wear or fading
• Leather creasing, pressure markings, stretching or natural grain variation
• Pet related damage
• Accidental damage, misuse or neglect
• Improper cleaning methods or water exposure
• Commercial, rental or non residential use
Anti sag cushions are designed to provide enhanced shape retention over time. However, all upholstered seating materials will naturally adjust and conform with regular use and this does not constitute a structural defect.
Natural leather is a living material and may relax, crease or develop pressure marks over time. These are inherent characteristics and not manufacturing defects.
This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non transferable.
Warranty Claims & Structural Repairs
To submit a warranty claim:
• Contact us via WhatsApp
• Provide clear photos or videos for preliminary assessment
• Allow reasonable time for inspection and evaluation
If a valid structural defect is confirmed, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:
• Repair of the affected structural component
• Replacement of the defective part
• Workshop repair where necessary
Full product replacement is not automatic and will only be provided where repair is not reasonably possible.
Where collection, return transport or on site service is required beyond the initial 1 month period, a service or transport fee may apply. In appropriate cases, this fee may be waived.
Warranty service does not extend or restart the original warranty period.
All warranty assessments and resolutions are determined based on inspection findings and in accordance with the terms outlined above.
Delivery & Installation
Your sofa takes about a month to prepare. We’ll contact you to arrange delivery once it’s ready.
Production Timeline
Each Paliano Casa sofa is made to order and carefully prepared before delivery.
Preparation typically takes around one month, depending on material selection and production schedule. In some cases, timelines may extend slightly to ensure proper upholstery, material treatment and quality inspection.
During festive periods or peak seasons, delivery timelines may vary. Customers will be kept informed throughout the process.
All timelines provided are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery Scheduling
Our team will contact you once your order is ready to arrange a delivery date.
• Delivery dates are scheduled in advance
• Changes requested within 48 hours of the confirmed date may incur rescheduling fees
• Missed deliveries or inaccessible premises may incur re-delivery charges
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is ready and accessible on the confirmed date.
If delivery is delayed at the customer’s request after the item is ready, storage fees may apply.
Access & Site Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location has adequate access for safe installation, including:
• Lift availability and sufficient internal lift dimensions
• Staircase clearance where lift access is unavailable
• Doorway, corridor and entry measurements suitable for the purchased configuration
If the sofa cannot be delivered due to access limitations:
• Additional manpower charges may apply
• Hoisting services, where required, will be borne by the customer
• Re-delivery fees may apply if a second attempt is required
We strongly recommend measuring all access points prior to confirming your order.
Installation & On-Site Inspection
Customers are encouraged to inspect the sofa carefully upon delivery before acknowledgment.
Once delivery is signed off or accepted, the item is deemed delivered in satisfactory condition.
Any visible concerns must be raised at the time of delivery.
Order Confirmation
Once you’ve paid, production may begin shortly after. Review everything carefully before confirming.
Orders are considered confirmed once full payment is received.
Production or material allocation may begin shortly after confirmation. Once production has commenced, modifications, cancellations or changes may not be possible.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product specifications, dimensions, material selections and access requirements carefully prior to confirming their order.
By proceeding with payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
Order Changes
Requests to change size, configuration or material after confirmation are subject to review and feasibility.
If production has not yet commenced, administrative charges may apply.
If production has already commenced, changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests after order confirmation are subject to review.
As production or material allocation may begin shortly after confirmation, cancellation may incur administrative, material or production costs depending on the stage of manufacturing.
Custom sizes, special configurations and non-standard material selections are non-cancellable once production has commenced.
Approved cancellations prior to production may be subject to an administrative fee.
The 30 Day Home Trial applies only after successful delivery and does not serve as a reservation or cancellation substitute.
Immediate Delivery Issues
If there are concerns relating to:
• Incorrect item delivered
• Visible manufacturing defect
• Significant damage during delivery
Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
This section applies only to delivery errors or manufacturing defects and does not apply to comfort preference, change of mind or colour perception under different lighting conditions. These matters are governed by the 30 Day Home Trial terms where applicable.
